This was my very first BB Frösch project! It cost me about $25 and took took me 3 hours from start to finish.
I logged online to good ol' Craigslist and found this solid wood bookshelf. Because of the scratches, I talked the seller down to $15. But with BB Frösch I wasn't really worried about the scratches because of the excellent coverage. Yippee! I headed to Home Depot and to pick out my paint and decided to go with a soft blue color. I got a sample pot ($3) of Behr Premium Plus (flat, no primer, low VOC). Go time. No sanding, no priming, no stripping....just dusted it off and then I went to it. I painted on 3 coats, sanded the edges with a medium grit sandpaper and waxed it! I decided that I didn't want to just paint tte backing the same, but rather I wanted to replace the back of the bookshelf with bead board (which I painted white). Ta dah, first project complete!
